Revisions for Nooney Farm, so much more exciting to work it out on the land. The map is not the territory, there are infinite ways the plan improves as it hits the ground. Adjusted for the space as it feels and functions, not just as it looks. Paths are aligned to be in concert with landform, ideas of plantings change constantly, moving targets for the future. Sun and shadow become obvious, wayfinding becomes more intuitive. What typically might feel big on paper quickly becomes smaller and more intimate in person.

BONUS: Massive European pear found at the bottom corner of our food forest site. Measured as 53 FT tall by the UNH Adapt team, has to be the largest I’ve ever seen. No one at the farm knew it was there, overlooked for at least decades and still putting out a HUGS crop.
