Our

Potential

We approach every project as a unique opportunity to expand our collective potential. We learn, listen, educate, and grow just as much as we design, create, and shape. Our working relationship with land and plants guides everything that we do, from backyard sit spots to bioregional plans.

  • Remote or in-person site and project review to help guide site planning and landscape design. We spend as little as an hour or up to a full day learning about the project and helping to guide it’s development.

  • We research and identify the unique qualities, characteristics, and vitality of a place or project. We are researchers and students, moving through the thoughtful and engaging exploration of site characteristics and processes and project resources to uncover the true place-sourced potential.

  • We design, plan, shape, build, and plant resilient landscapes with enduring value. We work at all scales - from small homes and gardens to community plans and public spaces - across rural and urban contexts, and with teams both small and large.

  • We have over fifteen years of experience in helping small farms and homesteads with site planning, systems layout, species selection, and integrated management strategies. We help design ponds, earthworks, fencing, hedgerows, and market gardens, bringing a unique perspective to the design of working landscapes.

  • We run a small nursery focused on locally harvested seed, novel agroforestry crops, and unique varieties of each. Plants are available for sale and, if its a good fit, we occasionally offer plant installation and short-term maintenance through establishment.

  • Grafting and propagation workshops, planting demonstrations, and other engaging experiences are custom tailored to the needs of a group. We have given presentations and lectures for college seminars and courses, small businesses, and conferences on topics such as agroforestry, ecological design, and design process.
